The impact of this work will be significant. Pattern Energy has swung big with recent wind farm construction, culminating with the 2021 commissioning of the Western Spirit Wind Project in New Mexico. With a total 1,050 MW capacity, Western Spirit is the largest single phase wind farm ever constructed in the Americas. On this scale, even slight improvements in operational assessment accuracy can pay huge dividends.
